Berat

Berat, the city of a thousand windows, is a UNESCO town of white Ottoman houses stacked up both sides of the Osumi river below a castle that is still lived in.

About

Berat

Two hours from Tirana, Berat is the easiest heritage day trip in the country: the castle quarter with its churches and the Onufri icon museum, the Mangalem and Gorica quarters facing each other across the river, and wine from the hills around.

We combine it with the Osumi Canyon or with Belsh and its lakes.
