Questions travelers ask
Do I need my passport?
Yes. This is a cross-border tour into Kosovo and Montenegro, with stops at border control where your passport is checked, so every walker carries a valid passport. We do not need your passport details in advance.
How hard is it?
Six consecutive walking days of seven to ten hours and 15 to 22 km, on waymarked trails with passes around 2,000 m. It needs real fitness and mountain experience in bad weather, not climbing skills.
What is included?
Seven nights, the meals, all transfers including the off-road legs, and real-time support by phone. There is no guide walking with you.
Where does it start and end?
Pickup in Tirana at 6:00 or Shkodër at 7:30 on day one; the last night is in Theth and the transfer back to Shkodër or Tirana is the following morning.
When can it be walked?
June to September; snow closes the passes outside those months.
