Day 1 – Arrival at the Airport & Transfer to Vlore Upon arrival at the airport, meet your guide and transfer to Vlore or the nearby coastal area of Radhime. Enjoy your first views of the Albanian coastline and spend the rest of the day relaxing by the sea. Overnight in Vlore.
Day 2 – Boat Adventure to Sazan Island & Pirate Cave Set off on an exciting speedboat trip along the stunning coastline of the Karaburun Peninsula. Discover Sazan Island, known for its fascinating history and beautiful natural surroundings, and visit the spectacular Pirate Cave. Enjoy the crystal-clear waters, dramatic cliffs, and breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea before returning to Vlore. Overnight in Vlore.
Day 3 – Gjirokaster UNESCO & Transfer to Permet Travel inland to Gjirokaster, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its Ottoman-era architecture, stone-roofed houses, and charming old bazaar. Explore the historic streets and visit Gjirokaster Castle, which offers impressive views over the Drino Valley. Continue through the beautiful landscapes of southern Albania to Permet, a town renowned for its hospitality, traditional food, and natural surroundings. Overnight in Permet.
Day 4 – Vjosa River Rafting, Benja Thermal Springs & Lengarica Canyon Experience an action-packed day in the heart of Albania's natural wilderness. Enjoy an exciting rafting adventure on the Vjosa River, one of Europe's last wild rivers, surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. Continue to the famous Benja Thermal Springs, where you can relax in warm mineral-rich waters, and explore the impressive Lengarica Canyon with its dramatic rock formations and beautiful river landscapes. Overnight in Permet. (Rafting can be changed with E-bike tour as per your request)
Day 5 – Scenic Backroads, Berat UNESCO & Wine Tasting Travel along scenic backroads and discover the authentic Albanian countryside, passing through beautiful rural landscapes. Arrive in Berat, the UNESCO-listed city known as the “City of a Thousand Windows,” where historic Ottoman houses rise along the hillside beneath the impressive castle. Explore its charming streets and cultural heritage before visiting a local farmhouse or winery for a memorable dinner and wine-tasting experience, discovering regional wines and the flavors of Albanian hospitality. Day 6 – Tirana Walking Tour & Traditional Albanian Night Show Head to Tirana, Albania's lively and colorful capital. Where does the tour start, and how am I picked up?
From Tirana, Tirana Airport, Durrës or Vlorë the tour costs €1,390 per person; from Sarandë or Shkodër €1,540, from Pristina Airport or Podgorica €1,590, and from Skopje €1,640. At the airports we meet you in the arrivals hall; in the towns we pick you up at your hotel.
What is included in the price?
Seven nights in 4-star hotels in a double or twin room, private transfers, 7 breakfasts and 7 dinners, museum entrance fees, and the activity fees and equipment. Drinks are not included.
How active is the tour?
It is rated easy. The active days are the speedboat trip to Sazan Island and the Pirate Cave on day 2 and rafting on the Vjosa River on day 4; the rafting can be replaced by an e-bike tour on request.
Can we book it only for our group?
Yes. As a private tour it costs from €2,590 in total for your group.
When does it run, and in which languages?
All year, from January to December, with a guide who speaks English, Italian or Portuguese.
